Thanks to Stan for pointing out another dead cert for top Xmas pressie 2007 - coloured bubbles. Quite how the colour gets into the bubbles and then disappears is a mystery. Maybe Zubbles would make a good ad for Sony Bravia? There's even a video on the website. We want some and we want some NOW.
They've been claiming that they're on the way for a long time... Every time I go to a toystore I get sad/angry because I've wanted my damn zubbles for years. I heard about them in the November 2005 Popular Science.

if you email the company distributing zubbles, you'll get this:
Zubbles Colored Bubbles will launch in Spring 2008. We will confirm the
retail availability of Zubbles closer to the launch date.

Check out the wikipedia article... it says that spinmaster has no plans to produce Zubbles and that they have released production rights.

maybe one day we will all get our Zubbles...

What idiots?
They've at least lost two years of zubbles I'd have boughten if *they just produced sooner*
But may I note? I haven't tried yet. But here's a formula on about.com!

I have been patiently waiting for coloured bubbles and periodically check the website for updates.
I just found out that I will probably never see Zubbles and I would have paid anything for them, and my kids would have loved them in our bubble machine.
Blue bubbles would have made our under the sea party even better than it was.
I am not much of a scientist, but I will definitely be trying to make my own.

$10 says there's some inherently cost-prohibitive or safety-related devil living in the details that wasn't realized until after Spinmaster bought it, and they unloaded a lemon onto the next sucker, who will repeat another 3 years of waiting before doing the same to the next sucker.
