Jono and his baby. Separated at birth. Or rather his wife and the baby were separated at birth, but Jono was clearly closely connected - though not physically with the birth - definitely with what led to the birth. You get the gist....
We've been watching the mysterious "artist in red" from the office windows at LOVE HQ for a few days. We think she was on track to complete her artistic masterpiece "le panoramique de manchester" - meticulously painted from her vantage point on the 5th floor of the NCP over the road. That was until the bloke from the NCP moved her on. Creativity, cut off in its prime.
Just in case you were hoping to catch someone at LOVE HQ today... We've all been called out on an important youth and musical culture study tour to Rockness. I hope all of our clients appreciate the lengths we go to in order to provide deep, rich and meaningful insights into the psyche of the festival generation.
Since the New Year we have started to bring in a lot more new business and our existing business is also growing apace. We therefore need to grow the creative team by 2 or 3 people asap. We are looking for middleweight designers 3-5 years experience, they could be ideas driven or graphic design driven such is the diversity of our work. However, they must intrinsically get what we do and be able to work across disciplines - old school is no good. Keen to also look at designers with experience of digital, on-screen, packaging/POS etc Also looking for a hot, young creative team: art director/copywriter, able to generate lots of ideas across both traditional and non-traditional media. As ever, only the best will do; award winning, ambitious, GSOH, able to deal with clients etc. Email Alistair at email@example.com.
We're helping to sell round the world trips, shoes, football season tickets, clothing, a restaurant chain, corporate hospitality, tea, beds, office space, museums and Manchester. We're re-branding science for young people, feeding mind and body, doing a russian bank job, launching a range of baby products, helping launch a new games console, developing campaigns for a few music festivals, doing a logo for an about-to-be signed band, producing a few books, developing a couple of microsites and moving the office around a bit. Sorry we haven't blogged much recently.
Sometimes there's a very thin line between brands that change service policy for 'environmental responsibility' reasons and those who do it for 'let's save ourselves a bit of cash' reasons. A good example is our local gym, who've taken to severely restricting the number of towels they hand out (unless you pay) as part of their policy 'to consider the environmental impact of towel usage'. I'm sure they're doing it with the most honourable of intentions, but is there a term/name for brands that seek to save cash under the umbrella of environmental responsibility or some other social excuse? Eco-Pirates? Goody-Baddies? Guilt Rippers?
